BrickEd® Academy

BrickEd® Academy is a registered 501(c)(3) that serves educational groups such as schools, preschools, scout troops, elder care facilities, and special needs entities to enhance curriculum and build on social-emotional skills through play.

The legal name established for the non-profit organization shall be entered as BrickEd® Academy, LLC (Operating as BrickEd Academy for Learning). The state and federal government recognize this entity as an active 501(c)(3).

We specialize in field trips, professional development for teachers, camps, afterschool programs, and tutoring for children PreK- grade 12.

The BrickEd® Academy vision is to build opportunities whereby every child has the opportunity to engage in purposeful play as a medium to learn.

The BrickEd® Academy mission is to engage underrepresented populations in play-based learning through STEAM (Science, technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) with a focus on the problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills necessary to foster a successful life.

BrickEd® Academy (Operating as BrickEd Academy for Learning) is focused on engagement and learning through play. We seek to build STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) skills through meaningful tasks that involve teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving. The desire to design and build is innate in children as babies, but that niche needs to be nurtured throughout elementary years in order for them to remain and or grow as creative human beings. The many social and emotional stressors of this world often prevent children from gaining the ability to discern ways in which to respond appropriately in certain situations. Through play, children can gain the social and emotional cues necessary to thrive in this ever-changing world.
