All of our classes are designed to foster creativity, engagement, and are fun, innovative, and foster a love of learning. We will encourage your student throughout our hands-on and STEAM activities that include robotics, coding, engineering, math, and much more. All materials will be supplied!
All age ranges are recommendations and are not mandates. Please contact BrickEd leadership to discuss class options for your child(ren) if they are outside of the recommended age range provided.
BrickEd® Spring 2025 Homeschool Schedule
Hands-On Introductory Math (ages 5-7)
Utilizing Brick Math and other manipulatives, this hands-on math class is sure to engage and excite! The focus is on why math works the way it does within the 4 operations as it applies to place value.
Introduction to Robotics (ages 5-7)
The Intro to Robotics course is designed to give students early experience with robotics and coding both hands-on and screen based.
Literacy With the Brick (ages 5-7)
This Literacy With the Brick class will allow participants to use the bricks to learn vowel patterns and dight words to create sentence structure, use children’s literature and the BrickEd® Storytelling kit learn about elements of literature important to reading.
Environmental Science (ages 12-15)
Investigations into real world problems that impact our environment. Problem based learning strategies will be key in this course.
Advanced Robotics (ages 12-15)
This robotics class is designed around real world units using LEGO® Spike Prime and other upper level robotics.
Hands-On Intermediate Math (ages 8-11)
Utilizing Brick Math and other manipulatives, students will dive deeper into the four main math operations, fractions, and more. Students will build a deeper understanding of math, while keeping it fun and engaging!
Engineering Design (ages 12-15)
The Engineering Design course applies engineering principles and design thinking formats to project-based learning. Students work in teams to apply engineering-design principles to real world problems by designing prototypes.
Physical Science (ages 8-11)
This course focuses on students understanding of the 3 core ideas of physical science: Motion & stability, force & Interactions., and Energy transfer. Students will do labs centered around the science principles involved in each of these core idea.
Intermediate Robotics (ages 8-11)
An extension to the introduction to robotics class, students in these classes will work together using a block based coding language and mechanical engineering to grown in their programming ability.
Competition Robotics Team (ages 8-11)
The competition robotics class runs throughout the whole year (both fall and spring semesters!) They will work as a team throughout the year to complete and master tasks that they will put to the test in May 2025 at the BrickEd Masters Competition.
