Technology is the way of the future, and being a part of a robotics team gives students hands-on-experience with a number of real-world skills. Creativity and problem-solving are essential skills that students will learn and have the ability to utilize. Not sure why they’re robot isn’t working? It’s going to take some thinking to figure it out!
Not only does robotics encourage creativity and problem-solving, it also requires a solid understanding of math, coding, and engineering, true building-blocks of our future. Your child doesn’t have to be a pro at math either! This gives them a chance to learn in a real-life manner.
Robotics competition is a huge part of learning about sportsmanship, teamwork, and critical thinking. BrickEd & More competitions focus on the coding aspect of robotics, engineering design, and the building of robots that impact the world with authentic tasks. You can have a district-wide competition or just a school-wide competition. The competition day includes awards, judges, set-up and break down of your tables, training for teachers and students, and task development to meet your location.
